We help communities overcome crisis to move from recovery to resillience

Story

Thanks for visiting our Mongol Rally fundraising page!

We're driving to Mongolia in a Skoda. Our route will take in Iran, Kazakhstan and the finest fermented mare's milk that Mongolian Tugrik can buy...

We're raising money for two excellent causes: our friend David Scourse's fund at Epilepsy Research UK, an organisation that funds vitally important research into a little-understood condition; and Mercy Corps, a charity that empowers some of the poorest people in the world by enabling community-led and market-driven development.
This is the page for donating to Mercy Corps. To donate to Epilepsy Research, please go to www.justgiving.com/ianandross

If we make it all 10,000 miles in our trusty conveyance, the car will be donated to some ingenious Mongolians who are well-known for their ability to keep a crate on the road for decades after it would have succumbed to one of Mr Brown's car scrappage schemes back in Blighty.

Every penny you donate will go directly to our two fantastic charities: Epilepsy Research and Mercy Corps. None will go towards paying for either the car, fuel, sustenance for the intrepid explorers, or AA vehicle recovery from Ashgabat...

Follow our progress with GPS tracking, make comments and read our commentary from the road here www.rossandian.co.uk
