Imagine cycling 30 miles and walking 22 miles all in one day! That is what I am planning to do on the 3rd May to raise money for Maggie's centres. Maggie's centres care for individuals and families who need help when suffering from cancer. They work independantly alonside hospitals with great results. I have 4 weeks to get fit; I have started cycling and walking and going to the gym. My legs are hurting already. A 12 mile cycle and my legs are sore, so there are hours of training needed. Starting from  Fort William, we cycle to Fort Augustus; from there we walk to Drumnadrochit. I'll let you know how long it takes me....I don't mind if it takes me 24 hours....there's no stopping me...thank goodness I have friends to cajole me along.
