My story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.
The photo you see on your left is of my late nephew Damian and his fiancee Laura. The photo was taken last summer and as you can see he was a fit and active young man. Several weeks later he was taken ill and admitted to his local hospital and then transferred to Harefield hospital where he stayed for seven months. Most of the time he was in the HDU where he had a number of operations including losing a lung. Despite the efforts of all the doctors and staff he contracted an infection and passed away on April 2nd this year, aged just 23.
My aim in doing this million metre rowathon is to raise funds for CRY and help them achieve their aims and maybe stop another family the pain of losing a loved one. PLEASE HELP.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cardiac Risk in the Young will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
