My story
I will be entering the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon on Sunday 12 October 2008 the event comprises a 13.1 mile run through St James Park, Green Park, Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens to raise money for Asthma UK.
Over 5.2m people in the UK are currently receiving treatment for asthma including over 1.1m children. Asthma UK provide over £3m to fund the vital research and care required to treat these individuals.
I am aiming to complete this event in under 1 hour 30 minutes and would be grateful of your sponsorship to give me that extra bit of motivation. As an added incentive should I exceed my fundraising target then I will be putting myself forward for the London Marathon in March next year, so get sponsoring !!
