My story

 
On May 1st 2010 I will be setting off to Peru for a 10 day trip, following old Incan Trails through some of the most breath-taking scenery of the Peruvian Andes that ends at the renowned Machu Picchu, Lost City of the Incas.  This is a challenging trek on isolated mountain trails climbing to passes over 4400m, so altitude and fitness is a challenge on its own!

I am raising money for Asirus www.asirus.org.uk Their objectives are to alleviate the suffering and distress of asthma patients, their carers and families in remote and rural Scotland, to provide essential equipment and nebulisers for hospital chest units, providing nebulisers for use by rural asthma patients, and those with acute respiratory diseases.  Asirus are also working in conjunction with the Scottish Ambulance Service and the Fire Rescue Service using the GRIP database.

Any donation small or large will be greatly received and to help raise money for a small but worthwhile charity.
