My story

WE DID IT!!
90 miles, loads of blisters, we've laughed (a lot), we've cried (a bit), we've cursed every hill - but we made it.

Thank you all for your support over the past few months.

For those who have already sponsored us, can we have the money as soon as possible.  If you haven't yet sponsored us, it's not too late;  just give your donation to any one of us to be passed to our most deserving charities.

On the 2nd June 2007 Faye Thompson will be setting off to walk the Ridgeway Path joined by her mad friend Annette Rowe and even madder mother June Reynolds.

Walking a total of 87 miles (139km) starting at Avebury in the west and travelling through ancient landscapes, rolling downlands, secluded valleys and woods to finish at Ivinghoe Beacon in the east. We plan to achieve this over six days, travelling an average of 14 miles per day.

We are raising money for Auditory Verbal UK, Cancer Research UK and Macmillan Cancer Support.

Please dig deep and sponsor us on this website for Auditory Verbal UK.

To sponsor us for Macmillan visit www.justgiving.com/rrmac

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Auditory Verbal UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, AVUK will get an extra 28p for every £1 you donate.

Many thanks for your support.
