My story

Dear All,

On Saturday 6th September, 8 members of the Restaurant Services team will be taking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge to raise money for Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Dave Holden, Kieren Mitchell, Lauryn Riley, Mike Whittaker, Mark Ellis, Mark Schweizer, Paul Ward and Tim Bedford will be dragging their aging bodies over the 24 miles of Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside.

Apparently it has been run, yes run, in approximately 2 hours 30 minutes, but we have challenged ourselves to walk it in under 8 hours!

RMHC supports families with children in hospitals and hospices through the provision of home away from home accommodation in Houses and Rooms nearby.

This is where we need your help!

As you can see, we have targeted ourselves with raising £1,250 each, totalling £10,000! and we cant do it without some generous donations from yourselves! So could we ask you to dig deep and pledge some of your hard earned cash to support the work of RMHC and to ensure that our pain, and I am ensured there will be pain, is not for nothing. We can at least promise you a peaceful Monday following our efforts!

Thank you in advance for your much appreciated support.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: RMHC - Ronald McDonald House Charities will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you
