Why your donation matters

We run the only low-cost animal clinic in the whole of Cambridgeshire for owners who are unable to afford the full price of veterinary treatment.

It provides over 4,000 treatments each year for pets who otherwise might never see a vet and go without the help they desperately need.

Funds to keep it in action are entirely raised by voluntary contributions, so your help is vital to us.

If our clinic was not available, many people might be forced to give their animals up for adoption, adding to the already huge numbers of unwanted pets. We believe that help to enable pets to stay in their homes is an essential element of the work to achieve the goal of ensuring that no healthy animal is put to sleep because he or she is unwanted.

Case study: donations in action

Pumpkin was found wandering by two children when she was only a few weeks old. She had cat flu and was very chilled, so that it was touch and go whether she would survive the next few days.

It's likely that she was abandoned by someone who was too afraid of the cost to take her to a vet for treatment.

The branch paid for her treatment and placed her in a foster home for continuing care.
