Why your donation matters

Your donations mean that we are able to grant the wishes of children suffering with a life threatening-illness.

Each wish is that of the individual child whatever they most desire. In granting these very special wishes each family will be able to enjoy a very special moment in time and enable them to have some wonderful memories for whatever the future may hold.

Harrison asked for a British Bulldog Puppy - Bonzo. He had to give his last dog, and best friend, up to the RSPCA due to his treatment.

Jacques loves anything to do with the military and asked to learn more. Captain SG James of the Royal Dragoon Guards gave him a personal tour around The Tank Museum.

And Ella visited Disneyland Paris to become a real-life Princess.

Case study: donations in action

This is an example of where your donations will go...

Elva is 7 years old and was diagnosed with Lymphoma in February 2011. She has dreamt of having her own special playhouse for some time, so we made sure that we got just what she wanted. A local tradesman, Mark, very kindly visited the family and spent some time with Elva and her mum, Rose, discussing the playhouse and drawing up the plans. On a very wet and blustery weekend Mark set down the foundation and set to work putting up the playhouse. When Elva and her mum saw it they were both speechless. Elva immediately set about decorating her house with a rug, cushions and lots of bits and pieces. That night she dragged her airbed to the top floor and spent the night cuddled in her sleeping bag under several blankets. She had a walkie talkie to keep in touch with Mum indoors but Rose said she didn't hear a peep! Elva is very happy with her playhouse and will gets years of fun from in it. Mum is contemplating charging her rent!
