My story
I will be taking part in the British 10k event on 6 July. This race is the same length as the BUPA 10,000 (10km), but takes place later in the year, giving me more time to recover.

I'm running the BUPA London 10,000 (26 May 2008) and the Jo's Trust Walk for Fun (27 April 2008) to raise awareness of cervical cancer and precancer.
All money raised is for Jo's Trust, an online information and counselling service dedicated to women with cervical cancer, their families and friends. This charity has been a godsend for me in recent months and offers great support and sound advice that any woman affected by this disease should have access to.
Please dig deep and sponsor me. A tenner isn't much to you, but is a lot for the charity. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Jo's Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust is the UK’s only charity dedicated to those affected by cervical abnormalities and cervical cancer. Every day around 3 women die from cervical cancer and a further 8 are diagnosed. We are there 24 hours a day offering a range of support and information services.
