Story
London marathon 25/04/10. Daily Telegraph Team running for The Brain and Spine Foundation Charity.
Viktoria and David are running for the Daily Telegraph's Team as "Running Accountants" in this year's London Marathon. It will be Viki's first marathon and David's 380th (and his 9th year with the DT and the B&S charity), and we hope to raise £5,000 for the Charity. Our honorary team captain this year is the Argentinian World Cup and Tottenham footballer Ossie Ardiles, seen above with us at the Arsenal Emirates Stadium in January
The work undertaken by the B&S is invaluable to the thousands of people suffering from neurological conditions (disorders of the brain and spine), and we both want to assist as much as we can to help those less fortunate than you and us. Please see www.brainandspine.org.uk for the complete picture.
David's aim is to continue his charity fund raising efforts combined with marathon running so that by Olympic year 2012 he will have run 400 marathons and raised £50,000 for charities. Viki will have to go some to catch him up!
All we ask is that you help us reach our target. We do the hard work and you provide the money. Quite simple really!
If you consider our cause worthwhile please be generous to help us reach our target.
