Story

October 14th

Ahhhh! 4 days. Just 4 days. But £1000!! Hurraaaaay!

October 4th

With only 2 weeks to go now, we are aiming to make it up to 10 miles today.  In honour of such an occasion, we are also going to raise the target to £1000. So, third time lucky?? Help us break this one too!! xx

September 30th

Another target down! Hurrah...shall I change it to a £1000? xx

September 27th

With three weeks to go, I have a team mate to keep me company and keep me going!  Ross decided to run the Half Marathon with me, and we are now looking extra cool running red faced through the streets of Cardiff.  We have reached 7 miles, but my hip is starting to feel like an old woman's.  Thanks to all those who have donated to us so far.  Keep it coming :-) xx

September 18th

Up to 5 miles comfortably now! Just a little bit to go then??!

September 16th

My amazing Nike plus gadget thing has broken, but thanks to everyone who has donated, I have broken my target!  Your support has blown technology out of the water! xx

September 14th

Right then, a progress report! With just over a month to go until I fall flat on my face somewhere in Cardiff, I am starting to feel a lot fitter..ish. Walked up Pen Y Fan yesterday, and off to an aerobics class tonight.  Plus my amazing Nike plus gadget that monitors my runs is really very nice to me, tracking my progress and keeping me company.  Thanks for all your support!  Mum has had her operation now, and we are awaiting her progress report.  Hopefully hers will be glowing too, just like mine.

September 3rd

So I have some brand spanking new trainers which set me back, a lot, and some suave running shorts.  As my mum said when I came down the stairs "oh, you've looked like I have always wanted you to look, athletic" so things are looking up!

Managed 3 miles yesterday. Not quite thirteen, but it has a three in it.

September 1st: 2.30pm

I am purple and in pain.

This is going to be tough, but all your support will help!

September 1st

Well, not the best start to my training regime..I learnt that I had some lovely little parasites that I had brought back from Indonesia with me recently, so training had to pause while I got rid.  Now back on form, and off for a run this afternoon..any takers?? xx

August 23rd

Impulsive as ever, I have decided to run the Cardiff Half Marathon for Breast Cancer Care in October.  My mum has recently been diagnosed with Breast Cancer and I wanted to do something proactive to help, so this is it!  13 miles and I can barely walk.  Your support and money would be greatly appreciated as it will keep me running and keep me smiling, even in the rain!

Cheers guys!
