The Tony Blair Sports Foundation invests in local people, inspiring them to make the most of themselves through sport. The Foundation will increase participation in sport by young people, particularly those who are currently socially excluded – by inspiring more adults to become volunteers, trained coaches or officials.

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I have never run this far (by some distance) but having seen the Foundation go from just an idea to an amazingly effective charity that brings a lot of enjoyment and new opportunities to children in the North East, I know this is a cause worth getting some blisters and sore legs for.

All the money raised will help us to recruit and train volunteers and coaches so that more young people get the opportunity to participate in sport across the North East.  Tony Blair has sponsored each of our 100 runners their first £500 - I hope you will be able to add to that and help me reach our target.  Thank you.
