Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Eleven of the animal care staff at the RSPCA Sheffield Animal Centre are planning a pyjama party with a difference. Myself and ten colleagues are all spending 12 hours (8pm -8am) locked in a Main Cattery pen with our without a feline room mate living like one of the residents.
We are doing this as we are passionate about the work we do caring for unwanted, mistreated and neglected animals and as we are a charity completely reliant on donations, the staff want to help with raising much needed funds to continue to help and care for the animals in the best possible way.
Please sponsor us to help achieve our aim of £500, it may not be a comfortable night but we are going to make it fun and hopefully make it completely worthwhile!
Unfortunately, due to health and safety restrictions, members of the public will not be able to witness this first hand but we will ensure plenty of good photographs are taken to to show you how we got on. We have a pretty strict warden so I can promise there will be no cheating - we daren't!!
Well........we did it, unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances only nine of the team could participate but we did it in style. We ate a huge chippy tea before hand and had a midnight feast and most of us slept pretty well. The felines loved it and spent most the night snuggled up to their humans!! Another huge thank you to all our donors for helping us to make this such a sucess, we smashed our target of £500 and a complete total will follow.
