But don't let it stop there, £650 is just the minimum requirement - keep the donations rolling in to benefit more people!

If you've got this far, you will probably know that I'm sending myself to Kenya for 5 weeks this Summer to do some voluntary work with Quest Overseas (with Excellent Development).

The trip involves a minimum £650 donation (but if I can raise more, then even better!) so anything, absolutely anything is better than nothing!

If you consider that the average Kenyan earns just over 60p a day, when will they have enough to fund their own project?  Probably not within their lifetime as the life expectancy is under 50 years old - so your contribution really means a lot to them.

Just so you know where the donation goes, every penny of your donation goes to the project.  No admin costs, no UK operations, it all goes directly overseas to pay for materials, tools etc for the local community.  Flight, accomodation, admin cost and the hard work is all provided by me :D, so your entire donation really does go directly to the local community.

Donations contribute to at least 4 sand dams which I will have the pleasure of mixing cement for, a number of tree nurseries and means of making the water safe to drink - something we all take forgranted.

It really doesn't matter how much you give, it's all about "every little counts", and just £6 can provide water for life for some of these people...

(Normally I'd take offers paid in chocolate, but for the purposes of Charity, money is preferred :P)
