Brain tumours account for the highest mortality rate in childhood cancer. In fact, in the UK more children and people under the age of 40 die of a brain tumour than any other cancer - yet brain tumour research is woefully under-funded!

I have to admit that competing in the Round the Island Race is not a great hardship, although it can be quite hairy at times!

However, I am using this opportunity to draw attention to the continuing need for urgent brain tumour research to help find a cure for this devastating disease. Please give a few pounds to our fighting fund. It is desperately needed and it will make a difference.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to Charlie's Challenge and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. It’s the most efficient way to donate.

So please sponsor us now.

Thank you very much.
