I have been given this fantastic opportunity to Climb one of the Atlas Mountains in Morocco in aid of the Make A Wish Charity, The charity that grants the wishes of children with terminal illnesses.
We had the opportunity in the Crawley Comet store to grant the wish of a young boy suffering from Motor Neurone Disease. To see his face when we gave him all his gifts and let him play with the games consoles was a memory i will never forget. He had always wanted a games console to play but his parents could not afford it, so to hand him a brand new Playstation 3 and 5 games made his face lighten, as a parent myself it brought tears to my eyes. To be able to raise money to grant the wishes of other children gives me an overwhelming sense of pride.
To climb this Mountain is not only a great personal achievement but to do it in the name of such a fantastic charity is honour.
In order complete this climb i have committed to raising £1500 for the Make A Wish Charity.
