As some of you may be aware, my husband has been involved with Hope and Aid Direct for a couple of years now, taking humanitarian aid to the war torn people of Kosovo.

After attending a couple of their annual pre-convoy briefings, I am going to join them in Kosovo at Easter and help give out the aid directly to the people that really need it.

All of the people that are involved with the charity are volunteers and each person raises there own funds to get the trucks to Kosovo and also collects their own aid to fill them. They all use their annual holidays to take time off work, some even taking unpaid leave. Without their help, the poorest of the poor in Kosovo would recieve nothing at all.

HOW CAN YOU HELP??  Simply by making a donation to my justgiving page. The money I raise will help to buy food for the poor in Kosovo, help towards rebuilding homes and schools and many other projects that Hope and Aid Direct are involved with.
