Hello my name is Sameer Jessel I have been lucky to be selected to take part in the Fulcrum Challenge which involves a cultural overseas visit and fundraising to do this. In October, I'll be travelling to Tanzania to help build a school for the local children. I will be going with 24 other young people and working in a team to help make this project a success.
The actual cost of the trip is £3000, fortunately the Jack Petchey Foundation has kindly donated just under half the funds meaning I have to raise £1550 in fundraising trhough various activities. I am therefore asking you to dig deep and donate to charity so you can help me help others. Generosity would be much appreciated.
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Fulcrum Challenge gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now! UPDATE: I now know exactly where I will be building the school- The area is called Magara in the Arusha region (Northern Tanzania). The area is rural so the school will be for the local children. I depart on the 16th of October at 2am! Im flying woth KLM from Heathrow to Amsterdam and from there I'll fly directly to Kilimanjaro. I should be back in England on the 31st.
Id like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has sponsored me. All your donations have been much appreciated.
