Hi, my name is Sam and i have been fundrasing for The British Neurological Research Trust for around three and half years.
My brother Scott had a freak cycling accident which confined him to a wheelchair at the age of 27, although he was wearing a helmet, he was pitched over the handlebars and fell badly leaving him with serious spinal injuries at T12 paralysing him from the waist down.
We have already held a number of charity nights such as 'Star's in their hi-de-hi's' where local people dress up and perform songs by their idols (see photo!) and we have also held an after dinner speech with Paul Merson (ex-England and Arsenal footballer) who met Scott and wanted to help the charity.
In June 07 my brother and i had the pleasure of meeting Proffessor Raisman who gave us inspiration for the future.
We have had fantastic support from family and friends and we would like you to help carry on the support to eventually finding a cure for people like Scott.
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and donate online.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: The British Neurological Research Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please donate now!
Many thanks for your support.
