Hello all,
My friend James and I are hoping to raise some money for Chance UK by cycling home from Hammerfest. Chance provides mentoring for children with behavioural difficulties who are at risk of developing anti-social or criminal behaviour. I will be mentoring for their Lambeth branch which they recently launched and it would be excellent if you could help us raise some money.
We’re aiming to cycle over 4000 km in 45 days from Hammerfest to London. Starting from Europe’s northernmost point, within the Arctic Circle, we are going to join Norway’s Arctic Highway and cycle south against the herds of migrating reindeer; hopefully avoiding the wolves, bears, Vikings and according to Wikipedia the occasional lynx. We will then be cycling through Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and finally over the Channel and into London.
All donations big or small would be much appreciated; and if you are living in london, have a few hours spare each week and fancy doing something interesting with proven results I would recommend mentoring.
Cheers,
Sam.
