Hello Everyone -  Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

You may well ask Just WHY would I jump out of an aeroplane   Im petrified of heights !!

 Well here goes.........

I am reaching a mile stone in my life...Yes Im that OLD in August  ! and......... I am so fortunate  to have 3 sons to be so proud of......  I wanted to participate in raising funds  for the Princes Trust and have a positive influence on the lives of young people facing considerable barriers in life

"This is something I can do to to give a bit back to the community" 

I have been challenged to raise as much money as possible for the Princes Trust  in the four weeks of July 2010

 I have persuaded 4 more work collegues to join me ( Glynis, Lisa, Kelly, Angela)  to do a parachute jump - This will be on 27th July in March Cambridgeshire

 

I need your help though to be able to make a bigger difference

About the Princes Trust

The Prince’s Trust is a charity that helps young people overcome barriers and get their lives working.  Through practical support including training, mentoring and financial assistance, we help 14-30 year olds realise their potential and transform their lives.  We focus our efforts on those who’ve struggled at school, been in care, been in trouble with the law, or are long-term unemployed.  Every day The Trust helps 100 young people to change their lives.

 

Did you know there are more than 1 million young people not in employment, training or education in the ?  Since we were set up by HRH The Prince of Wales in 1976, we have helped over 500,000 young people to turn their lives around.  Over 7 in 10 people we help go on to get a job, go back into education or into training.  And there’s a bigger picture: by helping young people to get jobs, education and training, we’re also helping to reduce unemployment and poverty which contributes to a reduction in crime.

 

What about this year?

This year we aim to help over 40,000 young people, through over 1,700 projects across the , supported by an army of volunteers to help keep those young people on track.  To do this, we need to raise a massive £1 million pounds a week!
