On 26th April I ran the 2009 London marathon. And it was damn tough!

I was once again raising money for Venture Scotland.  I love this charity - they do brilliant work and it's a pleasure to be involved with them.  Since I last raised money for them the credit crunch has reared its ugly head and their funding has taken a hit as a result.  So I want to raise as much money for them as I can to ensure that the excellent work they do remains well supported.

This year is also their 21st birthday, and in honour of their 'coming of age' I was aiming to knock 21 minutes off my previous best time for a marathon (from 3.52 to 3.31) and raise £2100.  As it was I finished in 3.47. Still a big PB, but short of my target.  Even so, I tried VERY hard and I'd be delighted with any support you can give me!
