I'm cycling 500 km from Saigon (Vietnam) to Angkor Wat (Cambodia) for a very important charity, The Camodia Trust.
Your support will be used to provide rehabilitation for disadvantaged disabled people including landmine accident survivors and people affected by polio, cerebral palsy, leprosy and clubfoot. In developing countries, people with disability are the poorest of the poor, excluded from education and the normal life of the community.
£30 will provide a bicycle to enable a child to get to school
£75 will provide a wheelchair
£100 will provide an adult with a supply of artificial limbs or braces, restoring mobilty, dignity and the chance of self sufficiency
Please dig deep and sponsor me online by clicking the "sponsor me now" link above. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Cambodia Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
£3000 raised! Let's see if we can get it to £3500, thanks to everyone so far!
I will be paying for all costs associated with the expedition including travel & accomodation so money you donate will go straight to The Cambodia Trust.
