My story
In March this year my Dad was diagnosed with Cancer, his strength and determination have been an inspiration to me. He is under the care of Christies Hospital in Manchester.
I'm the most unlikely candidate to sign up for a 10k run as I failed miserably in PE class at school and if the activity doesn't involve ponies or mountain bikes, I'm not interested. But here I am signed up for 10k all in the name of a Charity who are doing wonderful work helping the fight against cancer. So why not help me, help them and SPONSOR ME!!

The run went well, personal best of 64mins for me which was great. Although the course was a real challenge. I got married 2 weeks ago so been a little busy all round. Yes Dad walked me up the aisle :-) Raised a fantastic amount for The Christie thanks to your kind donations xxx

Running is going reasonably well, I am up to running 7k and have completed my first 5k race with a time of 31 mins. Have another 5k training race on Saturday and hope to improve that now I have upped my distance. Thanks for the donations, you've all inspired me to keep going!!
Well my training has started, 4k successfully ran last night not particularly quickly but hey its a start!
