My story
On 13/12/12 Sarah Tasewych sadly passed away from Breast Cancer. You were a true inspiration. I have never met anyone so brave; you stood tall, fought hard, and gave it everything you had got.
In June 2011 at the age of 26; Sarah was diagnosed with Breast Cancer that had spread to her lymph nodes and went on to fight a brave battle against Breast Cancer. Following a Mastectomy, Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy she was given the "all clear” in March 2012 but unfortunately we were given the bad news in November 2012 that it had spread to her Spine and Liver. Even at this time Sarah never stopped smiling or thinking of others before herself and she still managed to qualify as a Nurse.
Sarah told me how she dreamed of "Sarah's Pound", where she would try to get every working adult to donate £1 to be split between Sutton Coldfield Cancer Support Centre based on Lindridge Road in Sutton Coldfield and BreastFriends based at Good Hope Hospital. Both of these charities have offered her so much strength and support through this tough time.

Sarah believed that £1 would be an amount that everyone could spare but would soon mount up if everyone spread the word.

Thank you all so much for your kind donations and messages of condolences. As a family we cannot believe the support that we have received; the amount of donations so far are just incredible and we hope that we can keep the momentum going. Rest in Peace Sarah xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Cannot believe that we have already raised over £1000 for charity. Sarah would be so pleased. Sarah was dearly loved by those who knew her and that can be seen in the donations; but we are all overwhelmed by the support and donations from those we have never met. Thank you.xx
