Neurocare is a wonderful charity which helps to save lives everyday.  Neurocare raises money for the neurosurgery department at the Royal Hallamshire, Sheffield.  My dad went under 4 brain operations over the period of 11 months after suffering 2 brain haemorrages, and spent a total of 2 and a half months in the neurosurgery intensive care unit. 

People who are treated by this ward suffer from many different neurological conditions, these include Brain Tumours, Haemorrages, Strokes, Neurological Diseases, spinal conditions, and also injuries damaging the nervous system.

The money raised shall help the Royal Hallamshire progress in the field of neurosurgery, through the purchase of equipment allowing the surgeons to operate using advanced methods of surgery.  Neurocare also raises money for the aftercare of patients to detect problems earlier and also to help the recovery of the patients, be both faster and more comfortable.

The Hallamshire saved my dads life 3 times, and since he was there two other people we know have had to have life saving treatment there.

Raising money for this charity is my way of thanking the Hallamshire for saving my dads life and the many others they save on a daily basis.
