Naze Tower - Sponsored Abseil

In a mad moment I have agreed to take part in the abseil down the Naze Tower on Sunday 24th September.

The Naze Tower is an 86ft red brick tower built in 1720 as a navigational aid to ships.

All sponsorship raised is in aid of the British Red Cross and I would be very grateful if you would give generously to this cause.

However well we prepare for life, a single event can change everything. A house fire can leave a family homeless and with nothing. An earthquake can bring a whole country to is knees. The British Red Cross believes in respect for other human beings and in meeting suffering with care, understanding and without discrimination. They care for people in their own homes and in local communities, at home and abroad, in peace and at war.

In Crisis situations, people need the Red Cross to be there when there is no one else to turn to. This year millions of people will depend on them and sponsoring me for this event means that they can be there when it counts.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: British Red Cross will receive your money faster and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.

Sara

Final off-line total was £72. The abseil was really scarey, but I enjoyed it! :) Check out the videos here: http://www.easytigernet.com/Abseil/abseil.htm and pictures from the day here: http://www.walton-on-the-naze.com/Photoalbums/Naze_Tower_Abseil/abseil.htm
