My story

14th april

well its all over and have the blister and bruises to show, I want to give a big thank you to Nicole, with out her support I would not have completed it, I was giving up at mile 11 and she spurped me on.   it was an amazing experience and i would like to thank everyone who has supported me. Want to thank tony who was also running for prostate cancer, he made me stop moaning about my blisters and we pushed each other on.  Thank you.

3rd April

Really close now, not doing alot more training now, i have all the kids on school holidays anyway, starting to look at the forecast for the day and it looks like rain, not sure whats best rain or sun, thanks again for the donations its looking healthier now half way there!

Joined a website for prostate cancer  its called  "B*****ks to pca"   they are brilliant if anyone wants to look at the site definately register they have been amazing and supportive.

28th March

not long now 2 more weeks to train, got my fairy costume ready training is going ok keep you updated. thanks to everyone that has donated its really appreciated.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

I am running for my dad this year, He was diagnosed with prostate cancer in March 2007, he is doing great.  It rocked our world, but he is so strong and his attitude is amazing, he has made us realise that we can be strong too, thats why I am here doing this marathon.   I am no Paula Radcliffe but my passion for this worthwhile cause has inspired me to do something I never thought I would do.  I am so humbled to have the opportunity to run in the London marathon.  I am a nursing assistant and see lots of illiness and diseases everyday, the people that I look after never complain about anything and just accept the way they are.  I am not sitting back accepting it things need to be done to give our men a better chance.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Prostate Cancer Charity will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.

thanks  sarah xxxx
