Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm currently taking part in a 2012km Olympic Gold team challenge to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society because they do such great work in helping to raise awareness and research of dementia. This is a cause very close to my heart, with my Nan currently suffering from Alzheimers. It's such a sad condition and anything we can do to help raise money to fund research and care for dementia sufferers is a huge help. No matter how big or small, every single donation will make a big difference to this very worthy charity.
So, the challenge...? To complete 2012km before the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games on 27th July - either cycling, walking, running, rowing or swimming. For those of you who know how much I love my new bike and teaching spin classes, you won't be surprised to hear most of my kilometres will be on my bike!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please, please, please dig deep and donate now if you can - anything you can give, however big or small, will make a BIG difference! Thank you so much :)
