Those of you reading this page will know that Sarah was tragically taken from us in August. We felt we wanted to do something positive in her memory and we have chosen The Children's Trust as a worthwhile cause that we hope Sarah would have approved of.
The Children's Trust is currently building a new rehabilitation centre for children who have received a brain injury following an accident or illness. You can read more about the project on their website www.thechildrenstrust.org.uk/appeal
To furnish and fit out a child’s bedroom in the new centre costs £5,000,and it is our hope to raise funds towards this in Sarah’s memory. The items which the Trust need to fund include a specially adapted bed,overhead tracking and hoists,chest of drawers,bedside tables,linen,curtains and towels. The children are hoping to move in to the new centre in April 2009.
Any donation that you choose to make would be very much appreciated. Your donations, made in Sarah’s memory, will be acknowledged on a Donor Recognition plaque within the building.
