Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm running the Great South Run, a route of 10 miles in Portsmouth on 25th October 2009, for the British Red Cross.
The British Red Cross is a volunteer-led humanitarian organisation that helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. They enable vulnerable people at home and overseas to prepare for and respond to emergencies in their own communities. And when the crisis is over, they help people recover and move on with their lives.
The British Red Cross work throughout the UK and around the world, helping with crises such as the London bombings, the Gaza crisis and the Darfur crisis to name but a few.
The British Red Cross train individuals to deal with such crises, whether they be at home or abroad. You never know when a crisis might effect you, your family or someone you know, so please, donate to help the British Red Cross be there for when you need them.
