I'm not a natural athlete or climber - and I'm not that keen on snow, cold or heights when I think about it - but I've trained very hard since January to see whether its possible for my determined mind to overcome rather less reliable matter.
Having accepted the challenge, I then began to wonder why. Luckily, so many people expressed an interest in sponsoring me, how could I not choose a charity with a presence in Leeds, right by my place of work? I've paid for all my own coaching and all related challenge expenses so everything you give will go straight to the charity. It was amazing to be shown around the Leeds Haven personally. It provides the most fabulous respite therapy anyone could hope for in such difficult circumstances.
