It's time to don my hard hat and dig out my steel toe cap boots for a fantastic cause - helping to build a primary school in Tanzania with Community Projects Africa. The plan is to complete 2 classrooms and 4 toilets in Choba, on the coast of Tanzania. A group went out in August to help with the foundations and I'm going out with another group in October. CPA have already completed a classroom for infant pupils - this project is to build classrooms for the primary school. At present the nearest primary school is 4 miles away - necessitating an 8 mile walk every day to and from school, so this is a greatly needed resource that will provide benefits for years to come.
The projected cost of the project is just under $27,000 and over $20,000 dollars has been raised already but we still need your help and generosity. I've paid my own costs for the trip and made a donation - all the money you donate will go towards this project, so be part of building something that will last and benefit this community.
