Our personal message:

Sarah + walking poles + top of mountain ??? not my normal habitat, but I was getting into practice for a (short ) walk to gain awareness of COME, working in  Gulu, Northern Uganda.  I grew up in Uganda, so have a double reason for supporting the charity.

You will probably be amazed at the length of the walk I will be doing on 20 October - a truly awesome trek from Surbiton Railway Station to Kingston Railway Station .... probably minus walking poles but certainly with the aid of my new knee.

I hope very much that you will be so astounded at this departure from my usual walking habits that you will feel able to sponsor me.  I would so appreciate anything you feel able to do to support me.

Many thanks.
