Myself and 9 other lovely ladies decided it was time to challenge ourselves (and to raise money in the process) and someone came up with the bright idea of a mud/obstacle run!!!

Well it's obvious the idea of running 13k through mud and water facing various military obstacles on a chilly Saturday morning would appeal to anyone… mmmmm

Anyway, here we are…limited training, varying abilities but all excited (and nervous!) to give it it a go and have fun with it - after all it's good to push ourselves to do things out of our comfort zones whislt at the same time helping those that are less fortunate!

Tree of Hope is a wonderful charity that offers hope to the families of sick and disabled children in the UK who need specialist medical surgery, treatment and therapy in order to free them from suffering, giving a better quality to their young lives.
