Your donation makes a difference ! Some of the money donated during 2009 was used for a pilot programme in Cote D'Ivoire and because of that pilot we have recently secured funding to expand from that smaller programme towards national coverage. Where will our next pilot project be ? We are examining possibilities. Watch this space.

Regular visitors will notice we have increased the target. We have reached the 2010 target and so have doubled it to go through 2011. The new target will allow us to renew our donations to Africa as we pass through 2011. Alan Fenwick.

A huge thank you to GSK who have announced that from 2011 they will donate albendazole for deworming school children in Africa which will make an enormous difference to school health - we hope to assist them in the distribution of this donated drug.

All additional funds received will enable us to treat more at risk individuals across sub-Saharran Africa, so please continue to give. There are millions of people still in need of treatment.

If you would like to help us raise funds specifically for Côte D'Ivoire please have a look our fundraising page for Côte D'Ivoire. We hope to reach our target during 2011

To all the generous people who have donated to SCI and not left an email address so we can thank you personally, THANK YOU for your gifts.  We will make sure your money is spent carefully and wisely!

Thank you for visiting SCI's fundraising page.

SCI's vision is a world free from neglected tropical diseases (NTDs).  This would allow the world’s poorest populations to be healthier, develop fully, learn effectively, raise families, and be productive members of their communities, thereby helping to realise the Millennium Development Goals of sustainable poverty reduction.  Since 2002 it has been working towards this goal delivering treatment for these horrific diseases to the poorest of the poor in sub-Saharan Africa.  SCI has treated over 40 million infected Africans, but there are still hundreds of millions of Africans who need treatment.  For just 25p or 50¢ SCI can treat a person.  Please help SCI to reach its goal to secure treatment for 200 million Africans infected with the 7 most common NTDs.  Please read more about the work we do at www.sci-ntds.org

SCI is part of Imperial College.  Don't worry, Imperial College will place your donation straight in to SCI's account.  Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to donate to SCI.  If you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thank you for your support.
