Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. In 1995 our brother Mick died suddenly at just 37 years, of cardiomyopathy, on his way to a football match. He was a smashing bloke and a lovely brother who was looking forward to settling down after having just got engaged. Scott shared the same birthday of April 20th, unfortunately he was Mick's 3rd birthday present and we always remember him on this special day.We are lucky to still have 7 remaining siblings and 4 of us Scott, Chris, Glenn and Jeff proposed to run the London 10K on July 6th to raise money for CMA in memory of Mick.
We are certain he would want us to raise money in the research of this heart condition so we can provide hope, support and care to many people, in particular the young who are effected by Cardiomyopathy.
10K UPDATE: Despite the rain it was a great day and we stayed as a quartet all the way round, joining in with 25,000 other runners, past the most famous sights in London !!
With the CMA and our families support, plus Glenn's singing got us round in 59mins 49secs so extra sponsorship will be forthcoming for finishing under the hour !!!
WELL DONE THE BOYS and we all gave Mick a cheer as we crossed the finish line together at Whitehall, I am certain he was with us in spirit.
