My story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

This November I am yet again embarking upon another personal challenge to raise funds for International Childcare Trust. Having successfully cycled across Sri Lanka in 2003 for ICT, this time I intend to cycle the length of Cambodia, some 450km across hazardous terrain, in 5 days.

ICT exists for the sole purpose of relieving poverty, relieving sickness and advancing the education of children and young persons anywhere in the world who are in a condition of need, hardship or distress. ICT establishes practical based project centres which cover primary health care, offer income generation schemes & rehabilitation for displaced children and those most in need of support, with projects currently in India, Kenya, Sri Lanka and Cambodia. I can personally vouch for the tremendous work carried out by the charity, having visited their projects in Sri Lanka. (http://www.ict-uk.org)

Latin party Friday 6th October:

To support my fundraising efforts for ICT, I have organised a Latin-themed party, being held in Central London on Friday 6th October 2006. Tickets cost £65 and are inclusive of cocktails, hot supper, wine and live entertainment, featuring dancing to the highly acclaimed Manteca. Payment for tickets can be made via this online site. Follow instructions as per sponsorship.

Alternatively, please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: International Childcare Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

No excuses, you will be supporting a very good cause:

*A £50 donation will fund a six month training course in a marketable skill for a young person to provide for themself

*£100 will fund a child's school fees, uniform and materials for one year

*£200 will fund the purchase of tool kits for five young carpentry trainees

Many thanks for your support. Please give generously.

Scott.
