Story

On Saturday 14th October 2017 at Chepstow Racecourse, Sean Curran will line up for the fifth running of the Jump Legends Charity Race to raise money for the Bob Champion Cancer Trust.

Sean rode over 150 winners in his career. He started with Paddy Mullins in Ireland, then came to England in 1989. He won the Eider Chase for Johnny Manners on Killshin, who he also rode twice in the Grand National coming 6th and 7th. He retired from racing and started training in 2006. He trained over 70 winners dual purpose, his biggest win being the 2008 Scottish Grand National with Iris de Blame. Sean now works in horse transport.

Success of this reserach will ultimately lead to better clinical management of this cancer and to new cancer tests and treatments.
