The Gorilla Organization works to protect the endangered mountain gorilla in its native habitat. It also works to ensure that local people benefit from their unique natural heritage. The Organization, founded by the late Dian Fossey who lived with the gorillas, is involved in education, conservation and public awareness.

My story

I never thought I'd ever run anywhere unless I was being chased by a horde of marauding wild animals. It turns out I was half right...

After 15 years of avoiding running in all it's evil guises I have agreed to be chased through the streets of London by approximately 700 gorillas all in the name of charity. Okay so they aren't real gorillas and most likely i will be lagging along far behind. But I too will be dressed as a gorilla and it is indeed for charity. All money raised goes to the Gorilla Organization, who do nice things for the highly endangered mountain gorillas. So hopefully you would be willing to sponsor me.
