Having watched images on Live8 in 2005 I wanted to help those without simple access to Water across the poorest countries in the world. In early 2006, my friend Chris Wilson from University came up with the idea of running 7 marathons on 7 continents in 7 weeks, I loved the idea and realised it would be a great opportunity to raise some money for a WaterAid project.
