Story

The South East Water Team successfully completed the six peaks challenge!!!  We'd like to thank all of our sponsors for their support and would encourage them to look into entering a team of their own on next years challenge which is already open for registration.  As for us, maybe again, maybe not, but maybe!  We also give special thanks to the Challenge organisers for an excellent job and Steve the Cow for maintaining the blog while we were mobile!www.thegigwall.com

Welcome to the fundraising page of 'Molti Picchi, Poco Tempo'!  Thats the team name we've chosen for the South East Water entry to this years WaterAid 6 Peaks Challenge.  Roughly translated it means 'Many Peaks, Little Time', which describes the event perfectly.

50 miles to walk, 20,000 feet to climb, 1000 miles to drive.

The WaterAid 6 Peaks Challenge is organised by Yorkshire Water in aid of WaterAid charity and is taking place from 2nd to 5th July 2010.  The aim of the challenge is to visit the summits of the highest peaks of the six regions of the British Isles all within 72 hours.  That's Isle Of Man, Wales, England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland! Read more about the challenge here, but don't forget to come back here to sponsor us! http://www.wateraidsixpeakschallenge.org.uk/

If you want to see how the team is progressing, our mascot has started a blog http://www.thegigwall.com which is live now.  Be sure to check back regularly as you wouldn't want to miss anything!

We're aiming to raise over £10,000 for WaterAid through this years mountain challenge and hopefully you can help us to achieve that target.  Note that the cost of running the event and our entry fees are not taken from your donations, so it's not like you're paying for us to go on holiday!

If you would like to donate, but are unable to use the JustGiving facility, please email me at paul.kidd@southeastwater.co.uk and let me know how you would like to help out.

Thanks again for your support
