I decided to start a sponsored slim for 8 weeks, originally, to raise funds for magic moments.  I realised that I needed some incentive to carry me through the healthy eating plan and the charity are raising funds all the time, but specifically to send the kids on an activity weekend to help improve their social, teambuilding, confidence, communication, and physical coordination skills, which a lot of the kids struggle with to varying degrees. 

What better incentive to carry on than knowing you are raising funds and having people ask how you are doing funds wise, motivates you totally.

Well now, I've lost 1 stone 2 lbs, and have raised local sponsorship to the value of £150 estimated, but want to do so much more.  So I'm starting another sponsored slim with a 2 month period to run, so that I can raise more funds hopefully :) Every single pound matters, and this way the charity get gift aid another amount per pound from the government, to help the cause.
