Thank you very much for visiting my CWB page.

Cricket Without Boundaries combine cricket, a sport I love, with HIV/AIDS awareness work in Africa. Their work involves training people to coach cricket in several countries on the African continent, enabling these coaches to further spread the great game to their local communities . Having engaged the community in a sport they enjoy, CWB mix in AIDS awareness messages to the young people to hopefully create a lasting impressions and understanding that will ultimately save lives and reduce suffering.

So, we went, we coached and we have returned. What a great experience! In just over two weeks we trained 60 odd primary schools teachers as cricket coaches and ran sessions for over 1300 enthusiastic, energetic, polite and talented kids ! The weather was great - 35degs most days - and we built a great relationship the Botswana Cricket Association. Hopefully some of the photographs convey the spirit of the trip.

One final event to go this year - the WCTCC Junior dinner whe we will be holding a raffle for gifts provided by Newbery.
