Hi All thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
I'm taking part in the Abingdon marathon on the 19th October. It's my 6th marathon and my 6th attempt to break the elusive 3hr 30mins mark...some would say its time to give in, but just one more try then I'll stop, honest.....What I really need is the motivation of some extra sponorship at the end of it, and that's where you can help!
I'm supporting a different charity this time round. SKIP is a small charity dedicated to making education accessible to some of the poorest children in Peru. To date their work has made a massive difference to the lives of over 260 children from El Porvenir who as a result have the opportunity to improve their own lives and that of future generations. Unlike some larger charities your contributions will make a massive difference, it costs only $20 a month to keep a child in school. For more information on SKIP follow this link to their web site : http://skipperu.org/OLD/english/skip_home.html
Hopefully you'll agree its a really worthy cause, its only right that someone should benefit from my efforts, our bodies certainly wont be thanking usfor it! All the money raised up to £750 will be doubled by Barclays.
Thanks for your support!
