About our charity
Sidmouth Lifeboat operates off the south coast of Devon and is the only independent lifeboat in South West Britain. We saved 45 people in 2008. We fund and provide a complete service recognised by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency. Our response time to call outs averages about seven minutes from first notification to launch.
