The Greater London Fund for the Blind, established in 1921, unifies the collection of funds for several blind welfare societies in Greater London, so they can focus on the prime task of improving the lives of the blind and visually impaired.

My story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

Over the next few months Simon Jewkes and Louis Bamberger will be training rigorously (hopefully!) to enable us to complete the 2009 London Marathan in aid of the Greater London Fund for the Blind (GLFB).

The charity was established in 1921 to raise funds for the blind and visually impaired within London. The GLFB raises money for its 10 fantastic member charities who provide a wide range of services such as rehabilitation and mobility training, employment, home visits and residential care. To help us achieve our £2,000 target we have organised a jive night in Sway Bar (http://www.swaybar.co.uk/location/) on Monday 2 March 2009 from 7pm.

By sponsoring us £10 or more you will be given a ticket which will give you entry on the night. You are of course welcome to sponsor us more!
