Alright runts/runtesses,
Like last year I'm playing for Albion supporters in a match at Conference side Lewes' ground in May to raise money for the Robert Eaton Memorial Fund. Maxwell is playing too for those who know that RUNT.
The Robert Eaton Memorial Fund was born out of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Centre in New York City.
Robert Eaton, a lifelong Brighton and Hove Albion fan, tragically lost his life in the disaster. Albion supporters decided to set up a fund in his memory, raising money for disadvantaged young people in the UK and abroad who wish to play football, but find it difficult to do so without help.
The fund has raised over £50,000 so far. It has made sizeable donations to promote HIV awareness through football in West Africa, and has also bought kit and equipment youth football teams in New York, Sussexand Croydon. The eigth annual memorial match will take place at 7.30pm omn May 8th at the Dripping Pan in Lewes, and it would be good to see you there. I think at this point you should all know that last year I scored from 30 yards and was named man of the match, as chosen by Albion legend Ian Chapman. Bloody CHEEEEEEERS. I know its not exactly a challenge to play a football match, but it would be good to raise some cash for this charity. I'll be adding £20 to the total, so if you can chuck us a few BOB it would be gratefully recieved. Love Simon/Scouse/Jewnose/Jonny Danger/Barrett X
