Peru, Explore the Inca Trail · 7 September 2007 to 16 September 2007 ·

Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

Thanks for offering to sponsor me through this important challenge.

I lost my mum in November 2006 after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. I'm taking on this challenge partly in her memory, but mostly to raise money for a fantastic charity who helped her and our family through the last few years.

Over 12 days, me and a group of other fundraisers will fly to Lima. Once there we will make our way to Cuzco where the Inca Trail begins. After 4 days of gruelling climing and trekking at heights of over 16,500ft, we will arrive at the ancient Inca city of Machu Picchu nestled high in the Andes.

The money you help me raise will go straight towards the work of the MS Society helping and supporting the 80,000 people in the UK affected by this debilitaing condition. Donating online is the most efficient way to sponsor me: the MS Society will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift by the tax man.

Many thanks for your support,
